Hi All, due to the nature of this forum and my veeeery old project from my wife’s Superb. This is na Easy Open feature based on electronics from VW Sharan. Both car’s are nearly the same in case of BCM and Kessy module. Sharan’s one has additional VIP function - it is physical connection via LIN (I suppose) to the slave easy open control unit. All functionality from Superb is not missing, however Easy Open is not working itself. What is visible in the measured values blocks - Kessy is seeing slave module and it is seeing as well, when I kick behind the bumper. But it is not opening the tailgate. We are thinking, that the difference between cars is the MaxiDot menu “Easy Open” where it can be enabled or disabled. My question is - what or where - by operating with above menu, the cluster is changing in adaptations or coding in the BCM od Kessy control units? I have no access to that kind of car to check it out. Maybe someone of You guys, have an idea/experience? If more detailed data’s needed just let me know to do some scans/adaptations channel maps etc…
