# Please, HELP: Activating SDS on AUDI A3 8V MFL/MuFu Retrofit

Hi everybody.  
I’ve a big question before buying this cable.  
I’ve bought a AUDI A3 8VA SportBack 1.6 Business Pack (with Bluetooth, MMI Navi Standard 5,8",), but without steeringwheel command.  
So I’ve retrofitted my steeringwheel with command that are ok except that SDS functions.  
In few words, If i push the PTT button car not “ear” me, or better … after activation by another vag cable, the SDS is working fine, but when i turn off ignition and close the car, after some minutes (about 5 minutes) SDS function is lost. I can see on display the windows showing “waiting, please”, but without beep and so no SDS.  
I know that it is software related.  
With MMI 5F 0370 software version the SDS can easily coded, but with the newer 0420SW version it is locked and so it is impossible to activate only by coding.  
IT IS POSSIBLE TO ACTIVATE BY VCP?  
I know that it is possible for A1 and Q3. It is so, even for A3?  
Please, help me.
